Hyatt House Hotel Coming To Boca Raton

Hyatt House HotelVery exciting times in Boca Raton and all of South Florida these days! Just the other day we wrote about the prestigious Mandaran Oriental Hotel that is under construction. Today we write about yet another hotel under construction in Boca Raton, the Hyatt House, which is being built just North of the Mardaran site. The exact hotel location is the Southeast corner of Federal Highway and Palmetto Park Rd. The property sits on a 4 acre site and will cost $25 million dollars to build. It will feature 125 rooms which will be comprised of hotel suites and one and two bedroom units. The hotel will have a 6,800 square foot restaurant that will be called Louie Bossi’s. It is a concept from the popular Big Time Restaurant Group who has other popular area eateries under their umbrella such as Rocco’s Tacos, City Oyster and City Cellar.

There will be an outside pool complete with a fire pit and a full bar in the lobby. Boca Raton, rated the number one city in Florida and the 11th best city in the U.S., has been underserved for hotels for some time. I am sure that both the Hyatt House and Mandaran Oriental will be very suucessful and only scratch the surface for filling the hotels needs of the city. I also think that the construction of new hotels has a positive effect on the area by putting pressure on the existing hotels to renovate and modernize their properties in order to stay competitive. Both properties timing is good with the economy going strong, record tourism rates and tons of new construction in East Boca Raton. Other locations in the area for both brands are very impressive and I expect them to do nothing less here.

Boca Raton is really growing up and becoming more mature, befitting a city with the highest property assessments in the state. I am sure the impending hotels are not going to hurt residential sales in the area either. Exiting stuff indeed for everyone as long as we don’t think about the additional traffic it will create. As always thanks for reading and have a great day.
